- First prize is $1,000 and performing it along with the Charleston Chamber Orchestra (2nd prize is $500, and 3rd prize is $250)
- Open to all 9-12 students within a 300 mile radius of Charleston
- Must select one movement of a Classical, Romantic, or major 20-21st century concerto for your instrument
- Application involves: $50 non-refundable entry fee, mailed in application (see Dr. Lipscomb), proof of age (drivers license/passport/birth certificate), and a Youtube link of an unedited video of yourself playing the piece with piano accompaniment.
